Well, we are one week away from main-draw play in College Park. Over the weekend, several deals were launched by marketing sites Groupon, DCFind and Bloomspot. All offered similar deals to Citi Open. Of those, only Bloomspot’s deal is still active. What a deal it is.
Let’s break these deals down:
$395 will get you two box seats and ‘week-long passes’ ($790 value)
—We don’t know what they mean by two box-seats and week-long passes. It sounds redundant, but it is a great deal. A 25% discount was recently made available to Legg Mason fans, but this is twice as nice. If you were thinking of purchasing box seats for the tournament but haven’t yet, what are you waiting for?
$40 for two tickets to Session 9 or 10 ($80 value)
—Again, a steal. We got two bleacher tickets for the finals (Session 10) on Ticketmaster in May for $70.00.
$100 for two tickets to choice of three sessions ($200 value)
—You have a choice of a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (semis) package or a Monday, Wednesday, and a Sunday finals package. If you’re a USTA member, the best deal here is the Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday package since USTA members will already be admitted free on Monday, July 25th for Session 4.
I doubt you’ll be receiving a better offer to get tickets to Citi Open. It appears that the offer expires at midnight Wednesday, so you don’t have a lot of time to tarry.
