It’s another hot one at CitiOpen in College Park. So much so that even the best of the best need some shade. Melanie Oudin took a two hour practice this afternoon, but wasn’t on a court with a rest area. So she made one, pulling the chair off the court and under a nearby tree.

The big news is that Stadium Court is about to host its first match. Skylar Morton and Asia Muhammed will square off in about twenty minutes. Ruckert and Capra will follow.

Winners so far today: Rampre, Dabrowski, Fuda, and Gradjek. Lauren Albanese retired due to a shoulder injury.
