
Andy Roddick has withdrawn from the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington, DC due to injury. Roddick suffered a tear or strain of the oblique abdominal muscle on his right side, according to a press release issued by tournament officials. More details to follow.
UPDATE: Roddick’s injury occured during practice, tournament director Jeff Newman confirmed. This news follows previous withdrawals of Milos Raonic, American Sam Querrey, Kei Nishikori and Lleyton Hewitt.
