Tennis Maryland has but two rergets this week while covering CitiOpen: not getting interviews with Montgomery County’s Skylar Morton and Howard County’s Bea Capra. We are glad that we shot video of both Junior Tennis Champion’s Center alumni while playing the first matches of the tournament on Center Court. While both Free State natives failed to advance, they played well and we expect to see them on the world stage for years to come.
Live and Learn. Our first order of business at Legg Mason this weekend will be securing a chat with Dangerous Dennis Kudla, another College Park prodigy who hails from just across the Potomac.
