DC’s Dangerous Denis Kudla

Legg Mason Tennis Classic released tomorrow’s Order of Play and Arlington’s own Denis Kudla will start the main draw party at William Morris Stadium in Rock Creek Park. But not before 3:00 p.m, which is fine by us, since we’ll be covering the CitiOpen Finals in College Park at 1. It’ll be a fast drive across town. Kudla face Germany’s Tobias Kamke. As you all know by now, he is a College Park-trained Junior Tennis Champions Center standout. Kudlas’ match against Kamke will be the only main draw match tomorrow.

In the Tennis Maryland highlights reel, Denis Kudla learning of his first round opponent through our twitter feed would be near the beginning. Tennis Maryland covered the Legg Mason Tennis Classic draw ceremony on Friday afternoon from 16th & Kennedy Streets, NW, and Denis learned of his opponent through our little tweets.
