As promised, here is the exclusive video of Nadia Petrova’s post-championship press conference. She played an outstanding match against Shahar Peer, winning the CitiOpen singles title 7-5, 6-2 on July 31, 2011 in College Park, Maryland. She took home the Tipperary Crystal vase and a check for $37,000.00. After the match, she talked about the nearly three-year hiatus between championships, her crystal trophy collection, her pet poodle Lulu (acquired after Wimbledon), and her aversion to serve-and-volley.
