Donald Young Earns Back-to-Back Challenger Titles @USTAProCircuit Sacramento
Donald Young beat Tim Smyczek 7-5, 6-3 for his second straight Challenger title, and the American in is on a 10 match win streak.
Young didn’t drop a set this week and beat Peter Gojowczyk, James McGee, Matt Reid and Jarmere Jenkins before the final.
Young will re-enter the top 100, at 98 in the world when the new rankings come out.
Smyczek beat Noah Rubin, Bobby Reynolds, Sam Groth and Nick Kyrgios, only dropping a set to Groth en route to the final.
