[TORONTO, ON] January 5, 2026 – On Monday, Tennis Canada announced its roster for the upcoming Davis Cup Qualifiers 1st Round tie, set to take place from February 6-7, 2026, at the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. Captained by Frank Dancevic (Niagara Falls, ON), Team Canada will be comprised of Gabriel Diallo (Montreal, QC), Liam Draxl (Newmarket, ON), Alexis Galarneau (Laval, QC), Nicolas Arseneault (Richmond Hill, ON), and Cleeve Harper (Calgary, AB).

“We are very pleased to announce such a strong team for our upcoming Davis Cup tie in Vancouver,” said team captain Frank Dancevic. “Last year, for the first time in a long time, we didn’t make it to the final stage of the competition, which has only motivated us even more to make it happen this year. It all starts now against an excellent Brazilian team, and I am confident that our players are ready to take on the challenge. Canadian tennis fans, we look forward to seeing you in Vancouver and count on your support.
