If it’s Saturday, then it must be Tennis in my Time Zone Time. Finally. The rain delays at Wimbledon have extended match play to almost US EDT status, but not quite. The Saturday action starts at a very un-Wimbledon-like 10:00 a.m. local time.
Attached are your Order of Play and your Qualifying Singles Draw. Take note of the American “Group of Death”, whereby Kudla, Yani, Klahn and Kuznetsov are shoved into the same bracket, and only one will make the main draw.
And, for your further entertainment, the chips get pulled at tomorrow’s Main Draw ceremony beginning after 4:30 p.m.
